Hi – I’m Brian! I speak fluent French and I’ve been a singer-guitarist since I was a teenager. I’m based near Brighton.
These days my song list includes around 30 popular French language songs as well as hundreds of old English language favourites.
My French repertoire includes songs by Aznavour, Brassens, Brel, Hardy, Dutronc, Trenet, Piaf, Gainsbourg, Moustaki and more.

My English language set includes everything from Dylan to Abba via Simon and Garfunkel, the Everly Brothers, the Beatles, the Stones, Elvis, Johnny Cash, the Pogues, the Smiths and many more.
I spent five years playing in a pizzeria in London when I was a bit younger.
I’m happy to play small gatherings with just my guitar, but I also have a small PA system that is fine for most pubs, village / town halls or other venues.
And in case you don’t know all the words to the French songs – I always try to bring a bundle of French lyrics sheets with me to help you sing along!
